Constructively, I don't think thats very accurate in many ways. The main color is too yellow, and the "stripe" color is too brown. It appears that the material it is made from does not match what is seen on screen, thought that has not been positively identified. Similarly, the multi-part construction-though popular-is probably not correct either. It looks like it's made well though, so really the best answer is a question... do you like it? If screen accuracy is your goal, its not a good choice.
Should i attemp in re-dye mine if so what colour should i be using or who makes a good esb cape ?
The general "standard" is TK-409's capes. They are fantastic, though I also believe them to be inaccurate (though no one yet knows what accurate really is) they appear to be the right colors, with a bit of weathering.
Today i emailed Gaby at Evolutions reguarding my My esb evo cape and asking him to compare with Tk409 esb .
Here is Gabys replie below ....
The tk409 cape have a rare colours .... i attached you a pic from the original cape that thy have the same colours of our cape , to get the rigt tone you only must wash the cape ... but if you want one with the others colours that`s not problem, send them
Does anyone have a second on that ???

The top of the thread, or the top cape in your newest pic??? I'm kinda confused. anyway, I think the one that is more orange looks much better.

The one that is orange is the new one![]()
Looks good bro! My personal opinion, and this is just what I think, but I think the stripe is dyed, not sewn into the cape. Either way bro, Really nice of Evolutions to fix the color for you! Weather it up and see what it looks like!

So today i recieved my 2nd new cape from gaby at evolutions and thought i would show you guys how it turned out .
I think gaby is going by photo refrence at post #6 in which the middle stripe on my new cape is kinda looking like a rustic orange
Can anyone confirm the real middle colour for the esb cape .
Anyways take a look at my new esb cape from gaby and let me know watcha think

its better...![]()
The stripe color looks way better. the main color looks a little too yellow, but that could just be a trick of the camera. For that matter, the colors we see on the stills and screen shots might be too...The other thing that looks odd it the material itself. from the hard folds, and the thread pattern, it looks too be of a "parachute" material. If so, I don't think that's the best choice of fabrics. Again, I have nothing to go on here but speculation. Its good until you have something better, or accurate information comes out.
Thanks guys, its not that yellow and yes it is a trick of the camera .
I think with weathering you could make that cape look pretty good. That was awesome of gabe to do that for you too.
