Re: ESB Blaster questions
1 The stock is wood, the grip is brass.
2 In the past I have used games workshops paints and inks to get a wood effect, paint brown and then use dark brown ink wash.
3 I bought one of these http://www.bbguns.co.uk/813_1_1000813.html
4 The rings on the scope above are actually wrong, the actual ones used are quite rare though. Most people custom build the rest of the scope mounts, there are threads detailing this on here.
5 My original gun is a very dark gunmetally grey, almost black with silvery areas on edges due to damage/wear/age etc.

1. Are the stock and grip wooden?
2. If they are what's the easiest way to paint in a grain effect?
3. What scope should i try to get?
4. what scope mount should I get to fit it on with?
5. Is the gun Silver / black weathered or Gunmetal and weathered?

Slave1pilot, you guys make the sickest hyper firm weaponry! I'm a huge fan with no money.:lol Someday I'll be able to get one of your ESB EE-3 Blasters. Your tutorials on wood and metal painting are great. Good luck with the fan film.

Looks great, BUT that's all well and good for rubber weapons, won't the latex paints just peel off resin?
Re: ESB Blaster questions
Hmmm...
Not sure.
I think if you primer it well, it should be ok.
I'll research it this weekend & let you know.
