OK I'm looking for an endcap that I can buy cheaply, maybe something scrounged form somewhere that looks likt the ROTJ barrel end. anyone have any ideas of what I could use?
 
I seem to remember someone finding a shower curtian rod that the end piece looked similar after cut down a little.
 
OK I found an endcap, it's from one of my daughter's water toys, where it funneled water down through like wheels etc... I took off the top and cut it, let me know what you think.

also you'll notice the bracket is missing the top, that's cause I dropped it and the wood I used broke, so I just ground it down and filled the stock with expanding foam, now it fits my hand better and the stock is more stable than ever
