Ego\'s Gauntlet Project - ESB Left AND NOW RIGHT!!!

Thank you TK. :)

As for the job . . . well, I have to be at the office by 7:30 or 8, and don't get out til about 5 but . . . at least in my neck of the woods, that's just when the sun's rising (during the winter) and setting.

Normally I like it . . always more of a night time kind of guy but . . . when you want to take pics or work outside . . really sucks! :)

The technique, if anyone cares . . . . well, it's by no means my own, nor good! hahaha

I put down a base of the alpine green. Then used the motorfish technique to put the metal on topically. I must admit, I thought that it wouldn't look good at all. I couldn't be more wrong.

Then after that, I misted it all with some black from about 3 feet away.

Then lastly, I dipped a rag in some black paint and just started dabbing and rubbing and wiping. Hence the few odd black streaks that I wasn't all that happy with, but by that point, it was already dried in. But, can always fix them up later I suppose.

Anyways, I've got pics of the right up in the first post of the thread if anyone didn't notice them.

Thanks again for the kind words guys and . . please, any advice, I definitely need to hear it! :)

Jer

I think some of the scratches made in the original movie armor are made topically too, am I right?? By the way, your gauntlets turned out really good.
