Dying my ESB flight suit...

Hey, my ESB flight suit is pretty faded. When I bought it it was just blue enough but now it looks grey. What color dye do you ESB guys use?

Any information would be appreciated. In this pic with the flash you can barely see any trace of it being blue at all...

Looks like you didn't add to much dye.. I used "Dylone China Blue"
Matches the original ESB color very closely IMO Good Luck!

I didn't use any dye at all to be honest. I bought this as is from LadySewforus. The material used wasn't as washed out and grey as it is now though but it was never accurate as far as it being as blue as it needed to be.

I used Rit Evening Blue. I removed it from the wash early and it took a few rinse washes to fade it back down but it looks great now. The original color was gray and I dyed it to go ESB.

Make sure it's at least 90% cotton or you'll just be wasting your time, the dye won't take to synthetics.
