Dookie's ESB Fett (WIP)

Dookie

New Hunter
Hey TDH!

I'm Jason and I am starting my ESB Fett. I don't have much but a broken Don Post helmet and a dream.

I'm planning on attending Celebration VII in Anaheim and I hope I can complete this awesome endeavor by then. I've been doing lots of reading on this site and I'm looking forward to learning from you all. Hopefully I can do you proud.

Welcome aboard Jason....good choice with ESB but I'm a little partial lol. I'll be at C7 with my ESB Fett with the 501st as well!

Make sure you do your research and ask questions, great bunch of people here to help you reach that dream.

Thanks, Splat! I appreciate it.

My first order of business was to order an outfit from Arkady. Check...now I will wait patiently and soak up more knowledge or armor, paint techniques, weathering, and just all around badassery.

Welcome Dookie, ESB - great selection, good luck with your build. I'll be at C7, hope to see ya there.

Arkady makes great soft parts, thats where my flak jacket came from. :) Another point of advice, and this is mine only as some might disagree, is focus on one item at a time...e.i. soft parts (flight suit, flak jacket, neck seal, cape....) first and slowly start layering from inside out, it helps keep everything straight and ensures a good fit. Sucks to get into armor and stuff then find out your coveralls don't look right or something is out of place.

Thanks for the insight, Splat. I just got Arkady's stuff and it's tremendous! She rocks. Work's been crushing me lately, so I'll try and post some update pics. Prepping for my son's Halloween/Star Wars birthday, too, makes little time for Fett at the moment. I'm patiently researching airbrushes. Trying to decide if I should go that route or rattle cans.
