Does anyone wear something to hide their chin ?

Thanks a million for those pics that large they are a great reference. I would have to do it in a one size fits all thing erring on the large size. most guys neckseals are 15-17-18" mine is 21" not that i would make it that big.
I have a fairly large helmet that I got from a guy here and I dont know what it is ,he wouldnt say where it came from, It was a cast and it's not small since I have a big head so using mine for the sizing will work. I guess you guys called my bluuf now it's put up or shut up... IT'S ON!

Awesome! Yea, there's more pics in the gallery (ROTJ behind the scenes especially) that show the hood.

how about some head circumfirence measurements from you guys to give me an idea how big to make the form to size them on. They are basically a rear skullcap with a strap under the jaw and the front skirt. the skirt is no
problem...the skullcap is very detailed with all those ribs. I have a great idea how to do it I just need to have a base size ,not too big not too small. post me some numbers.

From under my chin, up vertically to the top of my head = 24"

Around my forehead to the back of my head horizontally = 22"

Top part of my neck = 14.5/15"

These are tight numbers. Like the 24" is tight against my skin, so I'd want a little more room in a product like that if I purchased one.

Excellent pics ! I', thinking of using the chin cup that came with my FP bucket, just to keep the thong on straight. I don't know for sure that I'd want a whole piece of head gear due to the heat. My Underarmor cap works wonders for keeping the sweat at bay. I'm still working out my fan system for cooling too.

I'd be interested in the helmet skirt / neck seal, though speaking to a fellow 501st Jango he said he had one, but it was unbearably hot. There's not enough ventillation in the helm, and in minutes the visor had fogged up.

If someone could make a troopable version, with a thinner / breathable material I'm sure you'd have plenty of interest ... well two of us at least.

I made a prototype of the quilted top part last night. It was just to get an idea of the shape. It isnt big enough. I have to resize the pieces in the middle they are the reason it's not fitting. as far as fabric it's made of very breathable cotton and has some stretch to it. It's not a perfect match just a close one to get the idea. I stopped at this point to revamp the design. I will continue to work on it.

The real question is...has there EVER been a reproduction of the screen used hood that Jeremy used underneath his helmet, as seen here:

Yes. Back in the day they used to occasionally be available. Not sure who made them though. Stormtrooperguy used to own one.
