Does anyone own WickedBeard Knees?

I just got a price check from Bobamaker. 240+ bucks for knees!

I know that his stuff is great, but my money flow isn't.

That made me wonder what Wicked Beards knees look like. Anyone got pictures or ever seen them in real life? Thanks in advance!

I've seen his website. and there is one picture of knee armor, but I think it's ESB as is every other peice except in that gallery (i think) except for the ROTJ gaunts and custom mandos. If anyone on the boards actually has any personal experience with them, then please tell me how they are.

I owned Wickedbeard armor, I can vouche for the awesomenesesesizzlesness of it. Good strong stuff there

Is the reason you "owned" WB armor because you upgraded them to something better? :/

I don't buy unless it'll be the last time I do.

Or did you just sell it for the cash?

No, he owned that armor because the engine in his Supra blew, and I, as well as many others, can attest to just how painful it was for him to part with it. He loved that armor.

TJ,

By no means feel bad for making sure you're getting you're money's worth. I can assure you, you're not going to find anyone here to speak ill of Jeff's armor or paint for the very specific reason that there is nothing to be said. Jeff builds armor that will outlast it's owner and paintwork that is meticulouse. Remember when your buying armor from him, you're paying for both. :)

good luck with that ;)

i've bought the top of the line fett parts many times over now... no matter how awesome something is, a better alternative will always come up, even if it's just the same maker getting better at it.

i don't think there's a single piece of my suit now that was there from day one.
