So if you don't have a screen accurate harness, but you have the DB and webbing, basically you just wrap it around above your Ammo Belt and go with it? Or do you try and attach it anyway to the vest/jumpsuit?

You might want to think about how the belt sits on you. Normaly its quite high,just sittilg below the ribcage. With out anything to hold it up it might try to slip down to your waist/ammo belt.
