    Decent armor washing color

I wasn't ever really satisfied with washing the armor with black after the initial Rustoleam Spruce Green so I experimented with a few different acrylics in shades of darker green. This one I'm pretty fond of (FolkArt 4022 Thicket) and I think it gives a nice depth to the plates, not to mention the hefty price tag of .75 cents. I think the base color matches the screen used stuff pretty well. Pardon the grainy phone cam images.
A little more weathering and these will be done.
Did I ever mention that I love sintra?

    Thanks guys,
I ended up going over it with the blackwash after all as I thought it to be too bright. I like the overall finish better than previous attempts, and my camera still does no justice for the finished pieces. I think the curves in the armor differ from Boba's, but I molded these to fit me using WOF's blueprints. I'm trying to go for the "less gapped" look in the armor.

It certainly is great. I would have to agree. It would have been such a shame to see such an immense talent go unutilized or underappreciated.
Beautiful work. I expected nothing less. Some things never change.

    Thanks alot guys.
Haven't made the backplate or the collar plate as I'm waiting to finish my vest to make sure it all fits together nicely..........BTW, my hat is off to all of you accomplished with the needle and thread. I'm finding it increasingly frustrating........Can't believe I'm "sewing",, and I use that term loosely.
