Damaged jet pack appears in RotJ SE before skiff scene

I know it sounds funny, but actually the chest lights were lit in the Jabba's Palace scene, just that for some reason, it's difficult to see them in ROTJ. I believe that the chest light display was the same, except that in this case (just like most of ESB pics) we lack of info on the chest lights, in comparison with ESB.

Have you noticed it yet? The beacon isn't lit up. You can tell from the Archieve picture I posted earlier that the damaged jet pack has a solid beacon (not even painted around the middle), but it made me think that I don't recall ever seeing the beacon lit in RotJ. Now the jet pack used at MoM and AoSW has a hollowed top on it (unlike the damaged one), but I still don't recall ever seeing it lit up in the movie.
is not the beacon, the light comes from other place, maybe from the wall check this pic

I will have to re-read the Tale of the Bounty Hunter tonight, but that damage on the pack could've come from when Boushh, 4Lom and Zuckuss ambushed Fett. There was a fight above Tatoonie before Fett was able to deliver Solo to Jabba.
That could be where the damage came from and why it appeared damaged before the sarlaac and why Han was able to set it off so easily as someone else mentioned, but if that is the case how come it worked so well getting from the sail barge down to the skiff?

for the first i have the same thoughts, and for the 2nd
check the damage, its no located on the fuel pipes
maybe for that the JP works
Ohhh.... you are gonna have to prove that one DV1. From what I can see, it appears that the chest lights were lit in all the indoor (no skiff) RotJ publicity scenes but not in the actual film...
As with what Tyler posted above here are three publicity photos I have, all showing the lights lit, but I challenge you to show me a screencap of the lights lit, from the movie. There are a number of times Fett is in relative darkness and the lights should be obvious but they simply don't appear to be there. If I am wrong, I'll be glad to be corrected but I don't think so...
On a side note, isn't it interesting that Jeremy has amost the exact same pose in image 2 and 3?

Pic 1 definatly does not come from the movie, you don't see Boba standing next to Bossk anywhere like that in ROTJ, so that one is a publicity shot.

Secol, as Lynn said, they are publicity shots. They are meant to look like they came from the movie but you will not find a screencap of that quality.

srry to burst all you costumers bubbles, but if you have or sell a ROTJ jet pack it is mostlikly inacurite. there is a huge gouge in bobas jet pack! it can only be seen if you watch the sceans in slow motion. i origionaly noticed it in the newly added scean where boba toches rystals chin and thought it was a newly added detail, but! if you play the scean that han hits bobas jet pack (origional scean) and play that in slow you can see it there to. what i have seen of ROTJ jet packs, none have this drastic detail. check it your self. your best bet of seeing it is in the widescreen version of the dvd's. dont bother with this change in your jet pack if it doesnt bother you. its no big deal.
