Correct soft part colors

Just wondering what the correct colors are for the soft parts. I think the flightsuit is light grey, The vest tackle twill. Is the neck seal also tackle twill or a white cotton material? Spats and hip pouches off white or what? Also where can I pick up some tackle twill? Is it at joanns or somewhere like that? Thanks

Tackle twill is not at Jo-Anns. You'll need to order it online. The neck seal is also the same tackle twill just the reverse side. It would help if you stated what kind of fett you are doing. Sounds like you want a ROTJ Fett. The ROTJ suit is the light blue ESB suit weathered with greys and tans. Check out the gallery for referance pics.

the idea that the vest and neckseal are tackle twill is just a guess. No one knows what the material really is for certain. Also, tackle twill is not a color. It's just a type of fabric.

Oh yea, I'm doing a ROTJ fett. Any links to where they sell the tackle twill. Also what are the correct color of the spats and pouches. Thanks

Look at the pics bro. Make an educated decision, all pics have different lighting and stuff, I do not know whats proper. Pouches should be the same color as your suit though... You'll have to google for your material.

Reverse that? I don't get it... How could you possably reverse that? ESB was filmed before ROTJ.. so wouldn't the suit be the ESB suit, just altered? People have posted in this forum and I have seen pics of the inside flaps of the ROTJ suit and it shows that it is a light blue suit. It is weathered a lot.

I agree. At least one of the ROTJ flight suits was a sun bleached ESB suit. It is clearly ESB blue in the unexposed areas under the vest shoulder caps. Whether all the ROTJ suits were or not is a different question. I am sure someone has the answer to this or it has been covered in a previous thread.

You should consider the PRO's and CON's in between both versions:

  1. ESB jumpsuit has a tone of bluish color, compared to choosing a ROTJ version, which is a dyed or faded grey jumpsuit.
  2. ESB belt pouches are the same color as the jumpsuit (a plus), ROTJ is a different color between a tannish brown to a "coffee" tan. Not tan or gray, but somewhere lighter than just brown. :facepalm

  1. Just take a look at this, think you´re right-apologizes...

Folks, all this information is incredibly well documented if you simply use the search function or check the wiki. None of this is new knowledge.
