Correct ESB gauntlet color?

Hey dudes,

I looked at many of the reference photos, but I can´t really see what the correct color of the ESB gauntlets is ... :wacko

Is it the same green as used on the helmet dome and lower cheeks?
or is it just the same color as the armor has?

If anyone of the top notch painters could give me some advice it would be great! (y)

just to know: I use the humbrol colors for my TF bucket and I plan to use them on the armor/gauntlets too. I have the green of the helmet as well as the green for the armor ... just have to know which of them to use for the gauntlets.

Thanks a lot!

:cheers

The colour I use is Panzer Olive Green mixed 50/50 with matte white. I also misted on a little rust colouring too. If you'd like to go the route I did, I'd just mix the accepted Humbrol colour for the dome of the helmet, and mix in some white to see how that looks.

Thanks GCNgamer128,

I´ll try and have a look how it comes out the way you described. (y)

Never knew that the gauntlets are that bright ... (y)

On one gauntlet there´s that huge scratch or something like that ... could you post a picture of how you have done it?

Thanks a lot bro!

@drache: I guess the armor color is a tick too dark for the gauntlets ... that´s why I asked around ... I was unsure about it too ... ;)

Hmm, anyone have any rattle cans ideas then? I have no problem airbrushing the panzer olive green mix, but the rattle cans make the job a bit quicker. ;)

Originally, I had used POG with heavy grey misting on mine. It looked pretty good.
Later, RS suggested trying RLM 62. I swithced over to that. To be honest, i could not tell the difference between POG with heavy grey mist vs RLM 62. Either way looks good.

Don't have any idea what you could use for rattlecan. never seen anything available that looked close.
