I guess the photo explains everything.

man oh man, why do i always have to keep repeating myself!? the same japanese manufacturer made scopes with a.s.i. and webley printed on them. here is the proof as that 4x15 webley came with the a.s.i. box so instead of having to look for an 4x20 a.s.i. one can also search for an 4x20 webley. as they are the same thing. or as far as the 4x15 is concerned everything is the same except the tube. got it now!? so switch out the 4x15 tube with that of a 4x20, and you have a matching screen used scope.

and as far as the pic above is concerned, i never said it is exactly like the screen used scope, as the picture clearly shows a 4x15 scope.

Rock 'n roll Mojo! I got the same one too :D Also with a tipoff by Volker! I had previously gotten a 4x20 that I thought was pretty close, but had a dumb detail on the rings that I couldn't see from the photo. That tube with these rings, etc. and I'm good to go! Thanks again good buddy! ;)

im sorry but untill we see a 4x20 webley they arnt "Confirmed" to be the same. at best you might be able to strip it for parts ( your still tossing over half that scope).from what ive been told from a very reliable source it seems a Webley 4x20 does not even have the correct eye piece. also, have you taken the "correct" parts and measured them in comparison to a A.S.I. scope? because they might be like say the Nikko Stirling scope where things like the rings & such are slightly too small or big to be identical, a good stand in, but not correct

oh & sorry if i have you repeat your self again.

This is old news, there was all kinds of scopes made in the same factory as the ASI, NONE of them are confirmed as being 100% the same as the ASi, but some of the parts are the same..... and yeah, take a chill pill

Got my Webley 4x15 yesterday! Without a doubt, the rings are identical. They're not the taller, fatter ones of the Nikko Stirling. I have not however put them side by side with ASI rings, naturally, becuase I do not have them. Keep in mind folks, before you jump all over V, that the ASI even has not been confirmed as the "hero" piece either. It's just been matched up as the "best fit" to date.

I am not sure what the issue is here... As I think I stated recently and as SaxeCoburg pointed out in this very thread, we have always suspected that there were more companies than simply ASI under which the Fett scope was marketed. While I am not sure I would say "confirmed" since no one has found a webley 4X20 yet, everything volkerc has presented would certainly lead one to believe that webley is indeed another brand under which the scope was marketed. For me the shape and details of the 4X15 scope make me believe that the 4X20 would be a match more than the fact that a webley scope came in an ASI box. Just my thoughts.

No Issue Art! :D I take it as extra "ammo" for people looking to find an accurate scope for their rifle. Extra option as to how to get the right look. Since even the best suit, with all the "right" parts, is still a replica, I think the aim of most people, in term of accuracy, is to have the most accurate "look" to all the parts. At least that's what I'm shooting for! (No pun intended  )

I've seen a few Webley 4x20's over the years and they haven't been a match.
There are also variations in ASI's so not all of them are correct either.
There are a few other companies with matching pieces here and there too. Nothing confirmed until a complete identical scope is found.
That's a nice scope though.

webley used at least 3 different manufacturers. there is a line called "silver" those do not match and then there is another line that carried the name webley and wouldn't match either. the scopes from the era pictured above do match, a 4x20 sold on ebay about 6-7 months ago for about 40 bucks.
