COMPLETED "4 year old" Shiny Boba Armor, Jet Pack, Gauntlets & "Bucket sculpt"

Sorry if some pics are missing or say there deleted its Photo bucket and there band width thing it's annoying and I'm probably going to fix it eventually.


So I'm making My son a "shiny" Boba Fett suit for Halloween & some of you have already seen the Blaster I built for probably 5$ so here is My sons Armor cost of Maybe 20$ so far. Hope you guys like it.

Cut out 4 year old sized stencils...

I used 1/2" foam sheet's.

Primed.

First coat was a lighter green.

That looks great! The foam looks like the perfect material to make the armor for a 4 year-old.

Reminds me of making my son´s armor for his Anakin Skywalker Clone Wars costume.

Ok quick update... I was working on the knee pads as well just a step behind...

After sacrificing a few pens, I have knee darts!

A few coats of yellow... Had to work it into the coarse foam...

Well there you go! Now all I have to do is figure out what I'm going to do about his Bucket and I'm going to start on his Jet pack tonight... Updates tomorrow! Peace!

That is so cool!!! (y) one question; how is the spray paint not "eating" (for lack of a better word) the foam?

Your not the first to ask me if the paint was eating the foam... It is one of two things... They dont make spray paint as Toxic as they used to or different kinda foam..

This looks very cool my friend! I wanted my son to have a Boba like me but the little rascal wanted a Jango! The foam looks spot on. I made my sons out of sintra and had a hell of a time making the guants and knees!

Can't wait to see the finished kit!

I'm going to make the bucket out of foam as well.

The jet pack is coming along nicely! Will post pics tomorrow.

Heat gun the foam and Shape then rapid cool under water. "don't forget to wear gloves"
