COMPARISON PICS OF MLC VS. BOBAMAKER

Since my pack did not have a backplate and I had to form a solid sheet, how to the panels that open on the back stay closed? Anyone have some finished pics? I want to cut an opening in mine (which is complete now) so I can install my hollow beacon and stabilizer but still be able to close it back up.

I'd love to know how the removable panels stay on as well. I have the same issue. I could not tell from the pictures.

With regards to the MLC jet pack backside - the removable panel was primarily intented to ease in strapping. But with the many innovative & creative members of this forum - we are constantly amazed at how a hallow prop can be utilized as a locker, smoke gadget, a camels pack, etc.
Thus we left the method of closing the backpanel up to the owner themselves. You can use screws, velcro, thin magnets, small hinges or the combination of these. Of course, if you decide you have no further use for the hollow jet pack after you've done your strapping - then you can seal the back plate shut with glue.
Basically - its all up to the wearer's convenience :)
