I'm in the stages of putting body filler on all my pieces and prepping them for paint when I realized that my cod piece and back armor has flattened out while the fiberglass was drying. This means that they do not fit anymore like they are supposed to. Is there a way to reshape them even with the fiberglass cured already or does this mean I have to re-make them?

The back curve from top to bottom is alright but from right to left is where it's worse. I'm thinking i could cut it down the middle and possibly put it back together how it should be.

The cod piece I have no idea on what to do.

Oh jeeze.... I have a 100% Fiberglass backplate, and it CAN be molded with heat, BUT yours being cardboard may be an issue... You could try it, but if it works, and you can shape it, don't forgot to shock the curves in place with cold water

heating it up should give you a some flexibility to re-form it. it would be helpful to post some pictures so we can see what you're working with.

I figured out what happened with the cod piece. What I should have done was remove the glued on template before applying my resin. When I put the resin on, the paper became wet and separated from the cardboard in some places. Lucky for me, that's actually going to help. All I need to do to fix it is put some elastic around to the back or something that will pull it tight against my body.

My back piece however has been a train wreck from the start. It's best to just start over with it.
