Cod/girth placement preferance.

I'm trying to decide on my cod/girth placment...

Which do you guys like best?

1) girth completely over the cod with only the bottom showing, most common placement I have seen.

2) girth sitting on top over the cod with the cod fully exposed... this placement is also in some Jabba's palace publicity shots.

I'm leaning towards #2.. but I would like to know what one you guys like or going to use.

And then there's the picture of Don Bies with the girth on top of the ammo belt!

Lynn, I've always gone with the top picture, where the top edge of the girth lines up with the top edge of the codpiece (except for those Fetts with the extremely-elongated, manly super-cods). And the ammo belt sits nicely above the two items.

Others will chime in for sure. You're doing ROTJ, correct? Is it any different for ESB?

I definately go with #1. My first experience in armor was not that fun because my codpiece kept sliding and it looked gigantic cause the whole thing showed. I think, the least amount of CP, the better.

Go with #1 because after a walking around for a few hours, it'll end up like picture #2. The biggest problem I run into is that my ammo belt wants to shift around on top of the girth belt. Someone mentioned that putting a few small pieces of male velcro (the rough side) on the back of the ammo belt will help it stay in place. The same may be true with the girth by adding a few pieces of velcro to the cod so that the girth sticks to it. I'll test this out next weekend at my next Fett outing and let you know how it goes.

It IS true, I have learned that trick years ago, it works great!!

Also, velcro your cod directly to your jumpsuit, this too will keep everything from waggleing down when you walk, I have done this years ago as well and works 1000%.... That was one of the best things I could have done, there is a lot of weight due to the belts and it keeps it up in place.

I just like the look of #2, I have gone with look #1 for ever....
