Figured I would share my progress on my Man of War AOSW jetpack paintup! I am using Terminal Fettler's paintup as a guide + his handy dandy Humbrol colour list.
The rocket lower has been my favorite piece to paint so far - it is pretty much done other than dullcote.
The rocket top I am pretty happy with as well. This part hasn't been weathered at all yet, so it may look a little odd. I like the finish of the red 1321 that TF recommended, but I hated how it treated my airbrush... I couldn't get it cleaned out - so be wary of that.
Painting the blue 109 on the jetpack body wasn't too bad, minus the several hours of masking and the hour of unmasking... I took the pics in daylight and the blue is completely unweathered, so it is very bright as of now.
Another note: I needed 2 tins of the Humbrol Blue 109 to get it coated. The blue is pretty thin right out of the tin (especially compared to other Humbrol colors), so it didn't last me very long - your results may vary.
I have also not added white onto the silver yet, or made the fine scratches into the blue in many places. What a task it is! Let me know what you think!
