CA boots delivery time frame

Is it me or is anyone else a leetle urked by the length of wait time for these here boots they are gettin in? I mean Yes I am impatient but waiting 15 days to ship and then waiting to get them aaaaararrrgrgggggggggg!!!!1

by the way this post is not a reflection on anyone here in the forum I contacted CA myself

I orderd mine over a month ago and I just got a e-mail yesterday that said 10 more days. I would really like them to get on the ball on this but I understand that since they are custom made and new design it takes more time. just waiting here barefoot.

Oh don't get me wrong I know they are makin custom ones
I am just impatient anyway. but its just the length of not hearing anything from them that I guess bites the bullet.

Are you ordering the fett boots? If yes that probable the reason why, they are still making modifications to them before they we're sent out. I ordered a pair of trooper boots and they came in like 3 pr 4 days.

yeah the fett boots. I got an reply about 2 weeks ago that said thet they were going to be 10 days. Then I contacted them again and they said it will unfortunately be 10 more days. So I might get them by first of Sept. sometime.

can't wait to get them.

I just emailed them today, and they said about 10 more days before they ship. I hope I get theses before Sept. 20th.

I've been waiting for a month now for my trooper boots Heck I got my stuff from SFP yesterday which I ordered the same day as my CA boots and SFP is WAY further away.

Ok, well, I called them today and they said they will have about 50 pairs in soon. Maybe Monday. So you guys keep your hopes up. They are coming.

told me they'd have some in last week keep on extending the time period I am gonna be a little more upset as the time goes on

I received an email from them on Saturday saying they won't be received at CABoots until Wednesday Sep 8. Then they are shipped out as soon as they come in - so DragonCon is out

Man I better get them before Sept 20th. I knew I should have done the next day shipping. Man.

Has anyone heard anthing on the boots yet?

I talked to them last week and they told me that they should be getting some in this week also. They said they should be shipping some out this week too. They apologized again for the delay, custom boots as well as a "New" product has been giving them a bit of trouble. I'll let you know when I get mine. Got my trooper FD pair today.

I wrote them an email today and asked when I might have my botts by. This was the response.

you think th's bad try waiting for a parksaber, mines not even here yet, its been like 8 weeks.

Aw right! Got a email today from CA Boots. They are in and will be shippinng today. So we should be getting these real soon. Man I can't wait.

So if I did not get an email from them today. Does this mean I will not be receiving them soon?

I emailed them to ask when it was coming.
They sent me the reply.

Got this in the mail this morning:

Hello,

We did receive our much awaited shipment of Boba Fett boots. Unfortunately the shipment that came in had some slight defects. They had some glue spots where they constructed the sole. The boots still look great and we are offering to still send them out to you and issue you a $20 refund if you would like. We do have a new shipment of clean Boba Fett boots coming in next Wednesday if you would like to wait, however we will send out a pair of factory defects right away if you would like.

I guess that means an extra week although I would be interested in seeing some pics of these "glue spots" - Rod

I said that I would take them. If they added the 20 to the shipping. I need the boots by Saturday, or Monday at the latest. I am going to weather them up. So they will be dirty, glue spots. Who cares, that is what I say.

Well my boots should be at my door step today. I can't wait to get them.

YaHoo! these thing are awesome. They are like walking on air. very sharp looking. The toe is quite flat. not perfect square, but look right on to me. the gray is a little light, but air brush a little dirt on them and they should be great.

Love them.

I just heard from Joey that my boots will arrive tomorrow. I'll shoot photos as soon as they arrive and upload 'em...

Got my boots on Friday. They are great. I made some toe spikes and weathered them up nicely. They are looking good. It was well worth the wait. The little glue smuges were nothing. With the weathering on the boots you can't even see those spots on there anymore.

Can u give us a verbal rundown of what u think Geo??

They look great in my opinion. The fabric has a slight texture to it and has a slight "sheen". They seem pretty darn close to the originals. I think the actual "fabric" may have been canvas on the originals. Anyone on that??? This has more of a small "mesh" look. The toes are mostly square and the sole seems pretty darn close to the originals. They are extremely comfy! Almost like waking on a sponge. The only thing that I think may be slightly off could be the height of the upper. Don't know how high it went on the originals. They seem high enough though, don't think anyone will have issues. Just stating it for all of the folks who want "dead-on".

All in all, I think they are great and can't wait to weather and wear!

I believe the original material was a type of twill fabric, close to a denim. Those aren't a bad alternative, we will see
