I got an email about a week ago that said that they will probably be going out in about another week. So I am setting patiently bare footed waiting for the boots.

    Can't wait

Purchased mine on 6/30 and also waiting barefoot , but it was a pre-order so understandable.

I also just found out they changed to canvas... this mean mine won't be leather and will be canvas? Or should I have notified someone?!?

Dammit I hate being out of the loop.

Dude! That is an awesome white Fett suit. That is how Jango should have been. I may have to be like you. I have most of my gear. My challenge recently has been trying to get a jumpsuit. Send me a reply with how you got everything so white. Did you paint the cloth?

    John,
If you're inquiring about the "Albino Fett" pictured above, that is the original Boba Fett outfit, photo from Lucasfilm Archives. Not an outfit that belongs to anyone on TDH .

Look at what an idiot I am! Hey 409, remember me? I am a designer in Dallas. We had a few e-mails a couple of months ago. I am using your chest light tutorial for my suit and I may be interested in a couple of things...I will discuss via e-mail. Thanks for straightening me out.

    Oh hey!
Here's an update on the boots...
I received an email from them on Saturday saying they won't be received at CABoots until Wednesday Sep 8. Then they are shipped out as soon as they come in - so DragonCon is out

They have updated there web site. It says all the boots are in stock. There is also a new picture of it. There is a new description as well. Man I can't wait to get mine in the mail.

It is funny, they are canvis now instead of leather(which is awsome!). But they are the same price, you would think that canvis would be cheaper.

Wow, they went a little crazy on the color, but I guess we can weather them ...

I agree...the colour is a little weird. Did they even look at any photos? I can't imagine why they chose near-white and black...

please be polite guys. These guys were gracious enough to work with us and still give everyone a GREAT price for a customized boot...if we keep things diplomatic I think we could really have a great and finally consistant vendor we could send everyone to !

Ok, mine arrived and here are the pics. Before and after weathering. I also added the spikes. Overall, I like them a lot. The toe is pretty square, the piping is leather, the sole is pretty close, the soft internal leather is high quality, the boots take weathering easily, plus they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!

Nope, just used a damp sponge and craft paints like everything else. I dampened the boots with the sponge, then dabbed paint on in kind of a wash.
*EDIT* Also, the measurement on the toe spike plate is 1.25" long on the sides and 2.5" across the longest center part.

They're already showing pictures now of a cloth boot. Not terribly accurate but closer than the leather.

I mentioned before I ordered the defects. Well, they came Friday. I see nothing wrong with them. They look great. I tried them on and they are so light and cushy. I am so happy! I did my own little happy dance in fron of the UPS gal.
