I remember seeing a pic in Chronicles where the boot actually has another one of those loops at the top, but in front. I'll double check that when I get home.

I sent an email also. aren't there places online to set up a petition? I'm sure everyone here would be happy to do at least that, and for $100 i'm sure there would be a ton of people to buy if they were more accurate. Plus I am betting that the cloth boots would be cheaper to make than the leather for the company.

I just heard back from Joey and he said switching to canvas is an "easy fix", so that's really good news. I think Braks is gently hammering him on other, more specific issues.

I've already sent them several Kenneth Cole "pit Crew" (Jango Boot) reference photos he said he's working on it.

Should we mention TDH so that they know they would have a built in customer base?

Already told them about TDH... and the more people who write them, representing TDh, the better, because it will make them take us seriously.

    Email sent to Joey.

Whilst I'm very happy with my Wes boots, anyone who makes boots accurate enough for Braks to take an interest in is making some pretty accurate, "must have", boots.

    Fingers crossed.

Email sent. I hope they do make something about it. Thats a cheap price to go for a pair of leather boots anyways...

Other than the material suggestions, what else does everyone see that could use some tweaking before going into production? Toe spikes come to mind for starters.

Toe needs to be wider, and they need to be angled more on either side

If the price were the same as their trooper boots, I'm sure more people would buy from them.

    Hey where have i been

This is great. I love there trooper boots. I hope they do the mods suggested. They Shirley would not regret it. But they better watch out using the name. wouldn't want them to end up in court

I just sent CA boots a full rundown with picture comparisons of what I think needs to be changed... We will just have to see what they say!

I think it would keep the cost of the boot down if they did not do the toe spikes - it'll be cheaper for us to do those anyway. Plus, there would be a whole other set of prototype revisions before they got those done right. I'd rather pay less and do those myself.

I saw Brak's email to Caboots and he covered ALL the other suggestions.

I think the boots look pretty nice for the price. God, Chengs made me broke. But, I have a pair of CA trooper boots and they are a b*tch to get on and off. The ankles are very tall and very tight and the design on these look similar. Just a heads up.

Yeah, I dropped $300 on mine a few months back and turned around and saw a pair on the cargo hold for $150 a couple of months later

    Here's a reply to my email -
    "Jordan,

Thank you for letting us know. Yes, changes are being made and will be completed by the first run of these boots.

    Please include all previous email.

    Have a wonderful day,

    Michelle
    (Sales/Fashion Guru)"

It's looking better and better each day. Thanks TK-409. (I agree on no spikes - they have a safety comment on the site regarding this anyway)
