If someone was going to make a product, then make it inaccurate, it would be counterproductive because few people would be interested. At least they are making an effort to make some corrections
Now for the subject of the boots
I've done some research on shoe making (I am NO expert, and I don't claim to be
)But what seems to be happening is that when these boots are made, they need to be formed over a wooden or synthetic boot shaped form called a Last. The shape of the Last determines the shape of the boot. When you do a run of these boots, you need a Last for every size, that's why usually only full sizes are offered, 8,9,10 and the like, or you would need almost twice as many Lasts if you included 1/2 sizes.
The problem with Fett's boot is its unusual toe shape. Lasts are hard to make, custom shoes have hand made Lasts that replicate the customer's foot accurately, and are made to resemble the final look of the shoe. To reduce the need for labor and cost on these products, shoe makers buy Pre-made Lasts that come in standard sizes and basic shapes. The shape of the pre-made Lasts do not match the Fett boot shape..... but they don't want to hand make the Left and Right Last for 5 different size boots that they are going to make in small numbers, that doesn't resemble anything else, and probably can't be used for anything else :rolleyes So how do they make it work? They take a pre-made last, probably a size bigger and cut the toe off, to square it off. They do a little bit of work to get a relatively close shape .... but not exact
As far as materials and colors, those are easy changes. I don't think the shape is something that's going to be changed because it would be too costly.
