does $43 (which includs Priority Shipping of $11 and a $1.60 paypal fee) sound resonable?
Well, that's not knocking that much off, for all the extra work, but considering that you are doing these for so darn cheep to start with, if that price really includes it all. (stock and all the other Webley parts) then yeah, I'll take one off these "less then perfect kits". (I want to do the ROTJ version anyway. :) )
Just let me know when you need payment, and where to send it. :)
Don't forget that shipping is included in that too. ;) It was a seperate cost for the regular kits.
I'd be willing to have a bash at one of those. Sure do need some TLC. :)
Whoa! Where did all those replies come from????
I'd take one of these less than perfect kits if you have any left.
The Priority shipping costs more than the original $8 quote, and the original quote didn't factor in the paypal fee. So while the numbers don't change much, it's actually a 25% discount on the handle and 32.5% discount off the barrel, but a little more in shipping costs...
how much for the kit plus postage to the uk
well the three 'TLC Budget Kits' are spoken for. Thanks guys.
Please put me down on the 3rd run or if someone drops out of the 2nd run. I know a lot of folks have already asked for the same thing but I figured it's worth a shot. I can paypal immediately after being put on a waiting list.
Beautiful work! Thank you for helping out the folks who want to do this on the cheap. Some of this stuff is so expensive!
Received my kit in the mail today. This is my 2nd kit. My first was from Ebay. When comparing the two I would have to say this need a lille more clean up but This one has SO much better quality!!! no gaping air bubbles. no broken peices in the mail.
this kit rocks!!!
seven thank you very much!!!
I wondered if it possible to post a snap of the hardware needed to assemble the kit into a "working" unit? Specifically meaning the screws that hold the Barrel onto the body, the trigger hardware and the grip/stock hardware. Also, do you have a picture of the the channel on the original gun body that is to be cleared out for the trigger to fit into. I understand how much work you have, so no biggie if you can't. Thanks a ton! I'm having a blast working on my kit! (pun intended :lol )
Got my kit in the mail today, Seven! Thanks a bundle again, bro! :cheers
I got my kit too!!! thanks Seven!!! I think I am going to do it ROTJ style. I was going for ESB but since my Fett is ROTJ I better stick with that.. so next question has anyone started an accessory kit to finish my blaster?
When will you start the 3rd run. I am definately interested!!!
I was just informed that the third run wait list is full.
Would love to be added to the wait list Seven, just give me the word and payment will be on its way
Got my kit in the mail this weekend! Thanks for the great deal and for following through on all of these orders Seven!
oh boy, everybody above me on the list has had their kit arrive
i'm excited :)
you should be, I just now got more resin in and I will be finishing up your kit tomorrow! :thumbsup
I got my TLC kit today. :) (well actually it came yesterday, but I didn't get it in my hands until today. )
I don't think I've ever been so excited to get to work on a kit. :) I've wanted a Boba Fett ROTJ blaster since I was kid. (yeah !!!WAY!!! back then. :lol) And now I'm going to have one. :)
Thanks so much Seven for making these available, to those of us who just never had the funds to get one of these in the past. :)
Oh, one question, before I get sanding on the D-bracket. How think should it be when finished?
Got the next four kits in the mail today :thumbsup !
I should be done with all those whom have paid for the first run by Monday.
Postage to the UK can vary between $16 and $45 depending on how fast you want it. The Wait list for the third run is full and I am not planning on a fourth run. Thanks all so far that has gotten their kits and their complements. I hope that the second run is quicker, smoother and all around the same 'success'.
I'll let everyone know when I will start tackling the second run. thanks again everyone for your patience.
Great news!! Today I turn 30 so I'll have a slightly late B'day pressie then!! Thanks Seven. ;)
well, I have good news and bad news.
The good news is the last of the kits for those whom have paid in the first run are done and ready to go. I am going to have my wife ship them out tomorrow if she can.
The bad news is that my car was broken into last night, so I don't have a drivers window anymore. So untill that is fixed, it's going to be taking up my 'shop' space in the garage, keeping it out of the weather. So, what does that mean? It means I cannot be doing any casting/kits (i.e. getting started on the 2nd run) till I have the space open again.
Sorry about your car buddy! I hope the window was all that got damaged and nothing got stolen.
"What did you get man?"
"I totally scored, I got a cheap ugly blue CD case full of Music CDs!"
"Cool, what CDs?"
"Hmm, let me see, well they are all copies, so they have no re-sale value..., uh, I got the Phantom Menace soundtrack, Attack of the Clones, the Wedding Singer, Gross Point Blank, Halo soundtrack, hmm, some Mozart..." :lol
It's the $180 for a new window that is the only loss.
Sorry to hear that mate. It can be a sad world we live in at times.
On a happy note. Thanks very much for the PM mate!! :D I'm very excited over here!
Hey Seven! thank you for the PM :thumbsup
Is this kit still available?
Bummer Sev! That SUCKS! Sorry man! :cry
Hey seven, sorry to hear bout your car. Happened to me when I was in London for CE... What a hassle... Thank god for CarGlass. They fixed it on the Hotel Parking lot.
I have another question, I seemed to have missed the opportunity to buy one of those TLC kits while under the impression of having first/second dibs on em.. oh well, first come first serve right?
Can I reserve a TLC kit you might be left with after your next run?
This webley is turning out to be a wild goose chase after being fcu*ed by a guy on ebay selling these kits for $200 and not delivering them and I keep missing the runs here too ;(
Sorry to hear about your car Seven. Sadly some people wake up each morning determined to take what they can from the honest people.
BTW: I received my TLC kit today. Thank you so much! :thumbsup
Looks like my wife was unable to ship out the last three International kits today, will have to try again tomorrow.
Sorry to hear about the car man. It's sad that people just can't leave other peoples stuff alone. My dad and I just had some one take off with about $1500.00 worth of stainless steel that we had stored in our barn.
got my blaster kit today. time to get cracking and pull on some sand paper. i hope i do it right
Are these still available? I'm trying to help my bro put together an EE-3.
Sent a PM and never heard back. Trying to get an ESB kit...
Got the last three kits shipped out today. Phew...
However, I do end up with some poor casts that need a bit more work (i.e. part broke, chipped, didn't cast fully, holes, warpage, etc.) that has been coined the 'TLC' kits that I am whilling to offer to those who want a challenge for a discounted price. Those will pop up here and there at random.
Please let me know asap if such a tlc kit becomes available.
Same here. Since I couldn't get in on the run, I'd like to have a TLC kit if available. : )
All good Sev! We know how hard you're working! :thumbup :thumbup
I have just received it, man, this has been the fastest shipment USA - Spain I have ever seen :eek
Say brother, if you happen to get any "TLC" kits that you will part with please put me on the list.
Thanks man, love the new Avatar!
Any news on TLC kits?
p.s. Try and find a used window form a scrap yard, might save you some $$$.
Patrick, many many thanks :thumbsup
received my TLC Kit on tuesday.
i have my work cutout for me,
but it's not as bad as i thought it would be.
i know you very busy man, but any chance of those hardware pic's,
as i don't want to make any errors in sanding or drilling out bits.
as soon as I get back to oregon on monday, it's the first thing on my list
Are you still selling these/
here is the first pic of the hardware. I seem to have missplaced the others. Once I locate them, I'll post the rest.
this is the screw for the barrel, (to allow it to pivot) and the two screws for the stock
Cool Sev! you (still) ROCK! Question, does the smaller screw thread into the larger one for the barrel?
cool! I have those pics from earlier in the thread, but these look bigger than the ones previously posted. more hardware pics would be cool too! No rush Sev, I know you're busy! :thumbup
Here is the rest of the hardware. In order from left to right is, grip/bracket screw, trigger screw, and the two trigger guard screws. Then there is the spring that moves the barrel release up and down.
Just an FYI, the pics of the hardware is just to give an idea of what to get. You wont find anything identical at your local hardware store, but you could pretty much use anything you find. The hardware is threaded only at the end tip to allow parts to move.
However, you can research this site and pick up some parts if you are a die-hard
They do have webley parts for pistols etc. that look identical to the flaregun.
Wow wish I had seen this way sooner so I could have gotten in on the Webley goodness.
Hopefully you will be offering more in the future.
Well, I haven't had as much time as I would have like to have had to work on my kit, but it is coming along well anyway's. I have about all the parts I need for my ROTJ blaster now.
However I am also looking for the hardware. Do, I just get it at the hardware store? Do I need to go to a gun shop? Or, will you be offering them here? (with kits, or separately for those of us that already that have kits)
Sorry if this has already be covered, and i missed it.
Has the second run started yet? Thanks!
Updates please. No rush but for peace of mind. Thanks for all your hard work Seven.
Peace of mind? Don't worry mate, you'll get one if you're on the list. It may take a while but it'll arrive. ;)
Sorry guys, I have been totally laggin'.
I have some parts cast for the second run, but nothing finished yet. I'm not quite in full swing as I have some higher priorities that take, well priority. Once that is squared away, I'll get some more resin ordered and do some more casting.
Everyone whom has paid has recieved their kits, so that is good news. I am hoping that I can have some completed kits before I start accepting payment for the second run.
Too all those whom didn't make the list, I am sorry, but I wont be making any more aditional kits.
can I give someone my spot on the list? I recently acquired one and no longer in need.
Ill take your spot on the list, have been away from the forum for a while, are there any more kits available?
If you have any left or have someone that doesn't want one I will take one.
Hey Seven, any updates on this??
Is the run still on:confused
Hello all, I am a total nooby! I am trying to follow the thread as best as I can, and I am interested in the resin kit. I am not sure if there is a run open, but if so put me on the list. If I am in the wrong place, my apologies, perhaps the dent in my helmet effected my brain. By the way, Great sight! I am pumped to be apart of this.
I'm curious how easy is it to make silicone molds and resin parts, is this something you have been doing long or is it something that anyone can pretty much turn their hand too? I have a nice variety of scopes (mainly used on the E-11 which I would love to have a go at being able to do something with).
This thread has been dead for 3 years
not at the same price try stormrider
So OK the topic is dead but is there anywhere where I can go to see how this process works and what you need to do to be able to do something like this?
youtube how to videos of casting with silicone molds sir
Bump! Wish prices was this cheap still
PLEASE NOTE:ALL LISTS ARE FULL, NO NEW ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN, PLEASE SEE SIDEWINDER FOR A KIT
Please dont necro posts...K thanks
