Look in the "propbuilding" threads. Seems to me there was a nice link to a tutorial on how to do molds.

Another tip, files can be used a shapers on your drill press. That's what I use. Just keep a wire brush handy, so you can clean your file out every so often. Works great.

hey ive made many darts from woden dowels on my drill press, it works great! like a makeshift lathe or something. i just use files. soem fine ones and a roughwer one to rip away alot of it until i get it down to the size i need.

okay guys....here is an update. i just made a mold of a dart that i made. it is a 1 sided dart...but...for the most part, you wouldn't notice it. anyway, i made the mold out of fiberglass risen. and, they kick butt!!! :) i will probably do a little more work on them, but, for the most part, they look great. i'll try to post some pics when i get a chance. my friend has my camera, so, i can't post any as we speek.

well guys, i just finished al the darts for my gauntlets. i have made a mold for the darts. if any of you guys would like a set, i can make some. i would probably charge $10 for a set of 4 and shipping is included. the darts are 1 sided, but, you can not tell that they are inless you are right up on them...and if someone is, i am going to be worried.  anyway, if you are a stickler for accuracy, you can sand them down, and round them off. they come painted and all. just let me know if any of you guys are interested, and i may can do a run.
