Brand New to Fett Costume

I might go with Animefan because the stencils are not fitted to the RS helmet

I want to make it as easy as i can plus anime fan works out to the same as RS in terms of price $ 155, $15 lens $55 shipping

so thats $225= £150

I am sure animefan has the budget helmets to hand, cold cast i think i have to wait

RS is = £150 plus £10 shipping + 4 week wait

If i go with anime fan i know its going to be easier to paint due to the stencils being avaliable here

Whats your advice guys RS or Animefan ?

I think i would go with salamanader kings servo set because it comes with the range finder lights and the jc27 does not come with the LEDs

Don't forget customs charges if you're buying from the US. Could be another £40

JC did offer wireless LED kits for RF toppers - they are very good, and easy to change the batteries. I have had both sets salamander and JC. JC is very helpful and always willing to help with any questions you may have.

Yikes i completely forgot about the customs charges !

so that makes it £40 more

Is it worth it re sizing the templates for the RS helmet ?

Plus buying it in the uk must be easier right ?

Girthbelt is Man of war its got buckles on it ?

Does this affect the accuracy ? / Should i cut off the buckles and use leather strips to join them ?

There are buckles on screen. Don't cut them off.

Also there is not leather on Boba's girth it uses nylon straps.

Oh wow so they are screen accurate nice

I seen more expensive ones with leather

I dont see the black plastic clips that i have on mine ?

That is made for ease of trooping. The clips will make it easier to put on and take off. If you want screen accurate then you just use the nylon straps to and the buckles. One end is sewn on the the girth belt and the other end is attached in the normal way you would use the buckle already on the end of the girth belt. You would have to punch holes in the strap, which is easy to do.

that jet pack tool look bad though nothing like the others

i can get the real patterson squeegee and chem stir so was thinking about that option =35 quid

I believe there's no actual reference pics of that shin tool, and it doesn't appear in the special edition so it's not needed for 501st clearance. Drop RS a pm via their Facebook page or website to get a price. They can supply the whole costume if you commission it

Rs is currently making my helemt and armour, so i am just sitting and waiting

Theres no point paying them £50 for cast replicas when i can get the real thing for £30 ?

Help please

I bought this from the cargo hold i noted the pinching but i didnt think it was that bad now that i got it its very bad

you can try to move the studs/bolts on the armor. Move them to the outer most edge of the armor. If that is not possible then you might move the hole in the vest. This will be trickier to try to not let the old hole be seen.

So is there any leeway on the armor?

I didnt think about that !

The studs are right against the edges of the armour, theres a tiny bit of room on the bottom studs so that should help with the downward pich
