    Jun 12, 2008, 2:25 PM - braid attachment #1

well, I have just received my new flak vest (thanks Dan aka Mandalore697). I am currently putting all my armour onto it and just have the wookiee braids to go. I was never happy with how i had them last time (just draped over the shoulder and sewed into place). How has everyone attached their wookiee braids?

    pics would be appreciated

    thanks

    Jon

Mine are actually held on with safety pins. A couple of them are looped under my armpit so they don't just droop over it.

    ditto.

my braids came pre-looped. i just threw them over my shoulder and put a safety pin through it. the pin is on the inside so you can't see it. it passes through the middle of the braid clump and back inside.

I just use safety pins too. Never had any problems.

Artificial black sinew. You can get it at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Tandy Leather Factory or ebay.
