Still needs some work to get it perfect, but I like it. Of course, a simple once over with filler will see it off if required

    Ok, an nice update.

Very close on this being finished now. I have filled and smoothed out the majority of the imperfections. I will have another go to get the last of them and that should be it.

I have pre-drilled holes for some of the greeblies and will be drillig some guide holes for the position of the stabalizer and beacon, in addition to the other greeblie mounts. I expect to get some more of the greeblies over the next week or two.

I got the new missile housing sorted and the missile improved. They now needs some work to smooth them up. The missile housing will be cast separately from the main body.

Ok, so I will no doubt start to make the mold this week. I have about enough stuff for about 5 packs, so I am looking forward to starting the next part of this project. 8)

    Anyway, some photos.

Nice update Rob. Looking good. Think you need all the greeblies next. Thrusters too. How the thrusters and Rocket attached to the Jet Pack?

    Cheers bro!

I will probably have a threaded rod and a wing nut type affair. The thrusters are being made at the moment and should be pretty nice. The master will be solid ali

I have about 30 sets of 'found part' style greeblies sorted, with the exception of the unidentified one, which I am looking at getting manufactured soon. The rest are actual parts - some vintage new - old stock 8)

I have sorted an earth magnet closure system for the rear hatch too!

I need to try and get a price down as members have been asking should have an idea by the end of the week.

Also - I did not mention that an accurate metal harness is in the pipe line too - but can't say too much just yet 8)

    Phil....PM sent buddy!

    Hi Dents.

No new photos I am afraid as the pack is covered in rubber .

I have started to make the mold. It has taken some time but I am getting there

I have two greeblies to confirm, one is on order and one I am sure will need to be specially made . I am confident the one I am waiting to come in (the switch on the underside) will work as the switch to operate the beacon light, which will be nice 8). I will confirm this in the next day or two. Still waiting for some prices and lead times for the ali beacon and some other finishing touches and I should be good to run an 'interest list' if I can get enough involved I can keep the cost down. I am going to PM the people I know (or can remember) have shown an interest and will then get an official thread posted up - probably Tuesday next week. Feel free to register a pre-interest with me I love pre's

Thanks to all for your help with different parts of this project

    Bobby.

I am testing a foam filled one....but a rubber one is still a possibility.

Nice piece Andy... is that the 15" or 16.5" version vent?

As Rob has the thing in silicone, I think he may have that part covered?

I believe it's the 15" version. I could have it scaled up and have more cut though.

Thanks Andy. I am casting at the moment so in one sense it is late, however I am adding the exhaust after as either a resin piece or an more likely an aluminum one.

But big thanks for the offer buddy.

Think you might want to use one of my sintra laser cut ones as the master for your resin copies? Or did you make one all ready?

    Edit:

Wait, I'm stupid. If you're getting them made in aluminum, you can use those as a master.
