BobaMaker- Worth the money?

BM is DEFINATLY worth the money. About 90 % of my current suit are BM parts with 3 more coming ( crotch and butt plate soon, the jet pack a little later ) to finish the suit of.
Check through the different sections for posts started by me for WIP posts.

His stuff seems really nice, but all combined its $405 just for the armor without shippnig to the USA.

I've seen Fettpride's work and it looks amazing, but nowhere have I seen prices, and he seems backed up with people wanting his stuff.
Phil

I'm not sure what is included in that $405 price from BM. But for a little price comparison, I paid $285 ALONE for a set of FP's ROTJ gauntlets. If that gives you any perspective on BM's pricing.

I ordered all my armor from BM back in NOV

as soon as it arrives, I'll post pics & do a review
So far, he's a great guy & very accomodating. I'm sure my opinion will not change & I'll be more than pleased with it

Agree. Same situation here. Can't wait to receive a box on my door from him. ;)

Daz (Bobamaker) is the best. I purchased all my soft parts & armor from him. You get what u pay for. The detail is incredible! You won't be sorry.

Just wanted to jump in here and say what everyone else has said...BM is the one to go with:cheers TOP NOTCH!!
Cheers,
~Kevin

I order all hard armor, a helmet, shin tools, and a :jet pack from BM. I also took advantage of his offer to paint all of the items I purchased. If ya ask me, even if ya live in the U.S., his items and paint jobs are worth every cent and every minute of the wait.

Just to add,

I received my JP over the weekdend and its AMAZING!!

I will be using the screen accuate harness attachment method and BM redesigned the back of the JP to eliminate the slot openings and reinforced the interior to handle the added stess...w/o even having to ask:D

I have owned the RA and MLC jp's in the past but the search ends with BM's jp...well worth the extra $$$ IMO.

Best of luck to ya...DAZ:cheers

All this talk about bobamaker is very encouraging indeed. I plan on purchasing the majority of my costume from his site as well. Luckily my birthday is coming up ^_^ so if I order soon I'm sure I'll get my armor in time (april).

Forcebewitya.

B'M' is great guy and I recommend him as well.
He's trust worthy and his armor among other
things is top notch. :)
He notifies you when your product/purchase has been
completed and shipped.

I've been doing a lot of research and BM seems to be the best out there. I can't wait to get started on ordering my stuff from him. I just have a few more projects I need to complete on my DeLorean "Serenity" before I start my BF project.

TxFett....
The atleration that DAZ did for me was at my request.

For anyone who is on the fence about who's JP to go with...I can only say on my behalf it was the JP for me but rest assured that you would not regret the purchase.

Cheers,
~Kevin

Ya might wanna order now. It usually takes about 2-3 months before your order is complete. So by the time you’re done with the projects you’re workin’ on, the armor will be there shortly.

No doubt Daz makes some great stuff but I had a question about the prices listed on his site. For example take this Deluxe Listed Helmet:

It's $230 and another $33 to have shipped. Okay $266 gotcha.

Now above the USD price is the price in euros which is 120. Which we now go ahead and run through this currency converter:

XE Currency Converter - Live Rates

((I'm not going to list the converted price here))

I don't mean to bash I'm just honestly confused so please don't take this the wrong way I truly admire Daz's work and he's a great and nice guy. I was simply wondering if anyone else had ever noticed this either.

(The shipping price is perfectly understandable as prices can soar for overseas.. i know personally... I've shipped to Japan on many occasions... eesh...)

Anywho, cheers. :cheers
