Bobamaker Vest/Flightsuit/neckseal

I recently got my hands on an old Boba Maker neckseal, vest and flightsuit. Excellent quality and got them for an absolute steal, however they're a little bit big.

My question is should the neckseal be tight against my neck and the vest not so puffed out? Same goes for the Flightsuit? The Flightsuit is a good size for my height but the problem is that sleeves hang a bit when my arm is out.

The neckseal I have is is pre attached to the vest, it's a velcro system and the vest is a zip up. The vest only puffs out a bit on the side however the neckseal is droopy.

I'm no expert but I think it's all supposed to be fairly fitted.

Are you talking about the flack jacket that goes over the flight suit? If that's bye your hips it's way to long for either ESB or ROTJ that vest should sit at the belly button not really that much longer....who knows i may be wrong but every pic I've seen the vest is no where near the hips...

Starchild99 is right that vest is way to long if its at the hips, also the neck seal should be nice and fitted round the neck for sure, the rest will just need taking in, I got a bunch of his new soft parts they are great but I had to make adjustments to it all,

Like this for example

I meant that the flak vest just wasn't tight against my body,it stuck out a bit. It does sit at my belly button though.

Also is the velcro over the front or back of the neck?

The neck velcro closure goes in front.

The vest should be loose enough to allow the jetpack harness stuff to fit under it, and ease of movement.

I wore it this morning and it sticks out at the back a lot actually, so I think I'll need to bring it in a little and remove the neckseal for it to make it seperate. Is there a screen way to have the neckseal or is it supposed to be a seperate piece or attached to the Flightsuit?

As long as it is velcro at the front I dont see why it cannot be part of the flight suit,

If you upload some pics of you wearing what you got we can you along (y)

This is pic one of my arms, probably not a very good image but an idea of how much the sleeves hang.

This is the back of the vest which sticks out a lot.
Even when my arms aren't raised the vest just sticks out and isn't very tight on my body as I expected it to be kinda just sits over the Flightsuit

But yeah here's the main picture of the puffy as hell neckseal and how it's velcroed at the back.

Last image isn't as good, but pretty much when the neckseal is up against the back of my neck it droops over to under my chin

Well its not all that bad, the forearms dont worry to much about that as they will be under the gauntlets and you will never see the material anyway, the neck seal looks a bit puffy yes, maybe give it a trim, and the flak vest it's self don't look to bad, once you have all the armour on and every thing else it wil all sit right.

Its tricky really if you want a truely fitted flight suit you will need to take it to a seamstress and get it all taken in to your frame,

I see some shots of Fett and it all looks vey tight fitting and other shots and not so fitted, I would say get it to how it looks good for you! try not to compaire it to other members finished suits or you will never get it finished, capture that one image of Fett you like the best and shoot for that as that will be your own personal end game. Personally when I watched Deathproofs fitting video I felt really compelled to have my Flightsuit at least Size wise mirroring his.

Silverstalker makes some great points. The suit is going to look totally different when all the armor is on. My legs were really baggy and the knee armor helped tidy up the sag.

I'd wait and see if it's absolutely necessary. Also be sure to grab some better shots so we have a good idea of what we're looking at :) Perhaps set your phone on a table and set the timer.

Also - do you have an actual build thread? It might be good to keep all your questions in one thread. I see you've started quite a few recently :)

I'm thinking of leaving the legs and just taking in the arms as they're super baggy. The Flightsuit and neckseal definitely need tailoring.

I admit those pictures probably weren't the best haha.

I don't have one actually, I have a post on my local Garrison but never made one here.
