Boba Fett SuperTrooper Automatic Blaster - New Found Part

At Celebration VI, Steve Sansweet had his original Boba Fett Supertrooper Automatic Blaster on display. Thanks to Alex Alva, we had a chance to inspect it. While there are a couple of greeblies we are likely to never find, the one large found part on this gun that has plagued me has been the orange/yellow housing on the left side of the Uzi body. Well, we were able to identify some wording inside the part while looking at the gun and shortly afterwards, I was able to ID the part. It is a pen holder from a German made Rotring Sec-O-Mat set. You have to do a few slight mods to make it work, but it is actually very easy. You can see in the attached photo, I haven't shaved down the back end yet, but hopefully you can clearly see this is indeed the part!

Great find! Note that the pen holder is also the source of the arrow on the side of the Pre-pro sling gun too!

Sorry, I got really excited when I just ordered some!
At least they're a really common part and sold in sets of 4 or 6.

Good call! You must be finding them more easily than I did! I had to have mine shipped from Singapore!

They are getting fewer and further in between but they are still happening. Just wait. In the next 6-9 months, we have some stuff to share that is going to absolutely leave your jaw on the floor and is going to revolutionize an aspect of this hobby.

Is it possible that this pen tip was used to make the toe spike parts, ya never know, may be worth chasing up unless this part has already been found????

It is already a found part. The Wiki is your best friend on found parts (although unfinished/unpolished) ==> Michell Engeneering Turntable Sweep Arm

That part is actually the unused handle of the Patterson Chemical Stirrer or Survival Knife, one of the shin tools:

Very interesting. Any developments in regards to this? It's been a little over 6 months since this was posted so maybe we'll hear something about this fairly soon?

I don't have one, but some of the members has original MQ-1 calculators and take them apart and I don't remember seeing those parts. But I might be wrong... Can someone confirm if those parts are (or not) part of the MQ-1 calculator?
