General Boba Fett costume, ESB

Hi everyone, I am here because all evidence suggest that you guys are the best of the best for what I am after. I have been tryouts my to get hold of/make a decent boba Fett costume for a while now but I just don't have the skills/time to complete it. I have spent a lot of time perusing websites only to find that most costumes bought there are cheap and nasty. I have looked at eBay and buying individual pieces of the costume and then getting it all together. Money isn't an issue and I am aiming for sort of tier 3 of the 501st requirements. What's the best way of doing this basically?? Thanks for all the help

If you want t3 stuff, money isn't an issue and you don't have the skills to build it yourself , the only thing against you will be time. Either waiting for a piece to come up or waiting for a commission to be fulfilled.

Spend time getting hold of vendors and that's pretty much it I guess

You can probably pick up all the pieces you need on here. It all depends on what quality you want. I've seen lots of great looking helmets and armour on here and most soft parts too. For the really good bits you will need to wait until something comes up. If money isn't an issue start buying what you need and in no time at all you'll have a costume. However you might still need to weather bits yourself so a degree of basic skills will be required to achieve a look that you are having with

Yeah, just look around at some buildups for tips, there are quite a few who are doing it the same way you plan to.

I would stay far far away from ebay often times the items available on there are recasts or low quality much like the things you have been seeing form the costume stores or various other vendors. The Dented Helmet is going to be your best option for resources. The biggest problem you are going to run into in my opinion is not having the skills/time to put together a kit. I know form personal experience armor of any kind in the SW universe is by far the most time consuming and frustrating form of costuming there is. I have build a Commander Cody kit and a Tie Fighter pilot kit, I am just beginning my Boba Fett adventure as well. I think it has already been said, but you could wait for a complete kit to come around and hope that its your size, but if money is truly not an issue you could always commission another prop builder to acquire all the needed pieces and complete the build tailored and made to your exact specifications.

Daz is one of the best makers out there. I would honestly say he is top of my list when I want gear. Really you can't go wrong with his stuff. and he is a really nice guy :)
