Can a cape be made out of an olive drab military wool blanket? How can you make it look old and used? I have seen other posts that show diffrent type of material, but I have not seen one on this type of material. How would you fray it? or wear it out? Any infomation will be greatly appreciated! Thanks1

army blankets are wool. You need to canvas as in a army shelter 1/2 or army tent.
i dont think it would be accurate to use wool, but you could still make it work. I'm pretty sure I did something like this a while ago and just cut it with scissors then ran the edges on a sander to rough them up, not too much though. You could rub carbon or a log from a camp fire on it then try to wipe the extra off to give it a dirty look
