Ok, here's a very small detail that I've noticed.
Alot of people use rivets or screws to attach their boot spikes to their boots... but I'm not sure if anyone noticed... there is no ridge or hole in the center of the metal stud... so it couldn't be a screw

I was thinking it would be some sort of nail or upholstery tack, but it looks almost like it is apart of the metal bracket. Any other ideas?
 
Hi, this depends on the exhibition friend, the first picture is of AoSW, and the second of MoM and in the second image the toe spike, it is attached with screws!!!!!!!!!

To me it looks like it is a flat-tip screw
see the faint horizontal line across the middle?
looks like a screw that was filled in & painted.

I can kind of see the line through it, but I don't see why they would go through the trouble of filling it in... these costumes seemed very "thrown together," almost
