Beacon review

Has anybody bought this beacon from evolution toys? Evolution Props I thought it would be really cool to rig it to turn on wirelessly from a switch on the gauntlet!

I never owned one of Evolution's myself, but from what i can see its not realy accurate. The top should not be open like that. The slotted piece should be a separate piece that is brass.

If you looking for a lighted metal beacon, i recommend Dark-Side here on the boards. I use one of his, and they are accurate and top quality. Not sure if he has any in stock, but im sure he will do another run soon if he doesnt.
