Beacon color

While I have no proof at all, I am convinced it is a found part just looking at the construction of the beacon tops. I believe it is simply a part we haven't found yet. I wonder if it is part of some type of filter or something like that.

That thought was actual going through my head while I read the last few posts. It looks to me like a part of some kind of filter. Or maybe a check valve off a vintage scuba tank?

yeah...like maybe on a faucet filter of some type???? maybe would have had a fine screen mesh on the inside originally?? Brass is commonly used in many types of plumbing applications right???

Here is an image of a brass foot valve for water plumbing.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback...you guys are like the Fett Detectives. Was hard to judge by screenshots because the beacon light overpowered the actual metal color. Looks like I am painting mine up later.

For what its worth, this is the closest I have come to finding it. This is a dental handpiece manufactured here and in the UK. I have spoke to the 3 inventors who own the patent and the research and development team of their company. There were only a minimal amount of pieces made because they moved to a newer design and none of the indivduals have one.

The tip did have machined grooves because it served as a high volume extraction tip (HVE).

**Kudos to SS for doing the groundwork on this**

Oh, and if you stick with the dental theme you might come across some pieces that look very close to knee dart launchers

Sweet Jeez! I spent the last 5 days combing through a billion dental tools, and did not stumble across this! :O Mad props Delta! Mad props SS!

Id like to resurect this as we still dont know what the beacon is as far as a found part and maybe a new member here knows exactly what it is or may be able to figure it out with their knowledge.

Like the top or the slots? There are two different tops one flat and one with a raised kinda dome on top of a flat top...MOM and AOSW show each one
