I've stalked this fourm for a while and it's the best costume community I've ever been a part of! I'm doing a ROTJ suit!

Bucket is a BobaMaker V3. It's an unfinished ROTJ from dansam here on the forums. It was sent to my buddy Josh today for him to complete it!

The armor is FettPride, I have a Fettronics board in the chest plate. Thanks to Mr Gee, he was parting his ROTJ Fett

My ROTJ pack and cape is wonderful work from molon labe studios! It's going to need a Repaint and such since I'm looking to get 501st. I'm gonna wash the cape a lot before trooping lol x)

The shoes are also from the ROTJ parting thread. They're evolution's shoes, they're nice!

That's all I have thus far. I know who I'm getting my flight suit from. The rest not sure yet. at the end, I my dad and I will add electronics to the suit and such. Stay tuned and let me know what you think!

I will dude! I was hoping to find the pp2 gloves but my luck hasn't been good with that. I've even asked people to commission them for me! If I can't find em, I'm good with ROTJ gloves, but my only nitpick with the gloves is THEY MUST BE PADDED haha

Always happy to help Brother:) plus cash is king right lol. pp2 gauntlets are next to impossible to find now of days, so I’m glad you’re happy with them and I know they have a good home.

With regards to the gloves, Yeah even the pp2 gloves are a bit tricky and hard to find. I have a pair of pp2 gloves from an unknown maker that are made using faux leather, they fit right and look ok but have a shiny look to them that I have tried to tone down a bit with weathering. Currently I'm looking to upgrade my gloves too so i feel your pain man. I was hoping to find an old pair of PP2 GBH’s (Galactic Bounty Hunters) gloves but no one who still has them would part with them willingly.

My next thought was to find a pair of rotj gloves, add the patches and die them but I’m having issues finding gloves that look correct and with the correct materials. I was hoping to find a pair of GBH’s rotj gloves then die them myself but F4R pointed out that SaintNasty’s gloves are just as good or even better. Only problem is SN does glove runs once in a while and it’s a lot of work for him so I’m hoping he can start a run on gloves soon.

Brother Bagel let me know if you need any assistance and good luck with this build

Thanks for the info Syper! At least you have some PP2 gloves lol. I scored some ROTJ gloves and I believe the maker is batninja? They're accurate with the padding and all!

Those look great! see I think you could add the patches and try dyeing them brown? that could turn out looking correct?

Up to you man, I have the patches needed, If you want I could give it a go? Ill add the patches and attempt to die them myself for free. This would prove to myself whether or not I can convert a rotj pair of gloves into a pp2 set.

Let me know man either way the patches are yours for free.

That's mighty generous of you bro, but I'm not too keen on modifying stuff like this. I would rather have a pair of both to be honesty with you haha!
Could switch them at will. I would like to see you give a shot! If the patches are free, I'll take a set from you and see what can be done! Maybe even the ROTJ gloves with the patches? That would be a nice mix

Cool thing is when SaintNasty does do a run on gloves you will have the patches ready to go.

I appreciate that! You make a good point. Let's hope SN does those pp2 gloves soon! This guy has white patches on his ROTJ and they look pretty sick

And FOUND the thread! The gear is looking good man. I will throw up the helmet updates here as I get further along in painting it. Back plates start up tonight!

Are you still going a RotJ/ Pp2/SE mix, to each there own choice of what they make, how ever I am curious as to know is there a
specific reason that you are not going in a cannon direction?

I'm heavily aiming on a pure ROTJ later down the road, but man.. I love the prepro specs. I don't know. We'll see what happens haha. I'm adding electronics in the gauntlet and such so I'm not sure. I prefer the blue flight suit over the grey one as well honestly lol

Helmet updates: And yes... ROTJ is super challenging.. much harder than the ESB. But I am getting there bit by bit.
The back panels need a few areas touched up here and there, and they need the minute damage brushed on in a few spots... but they are almost done.

The dome is almost there too, just needs some weathering powder to dirty it up a bit, some dullcoat, and the blood stripes.

Your paint work is coming along nicely,
What about one of the promo suit set ups, like the one which the pics were taken in a shopping Center, it uses the Rotj helmet with the pp2 gaunts
