im am entertaining ideas about this also. i was thinking about gluing velcro on the back of the vest in 5 or 6 locations to get a good connection
I know that some use there harness (or what it's caled, you know the thing that you attatch your jetpack on)
klinjo hi.I just use heavy duty snaps from the local Joann Fabrics.Cost $5.00 for 7 pairs of heavy duty snaps.I attach them to the back armor with J-B KWIK Weld.It sets in 4 minutes and ready for heavy use in 24 hrs or less.When attaching only velcro I use Indutrial strenth velcro and use contact cement by DAP brush it on both sides,leave it set for 5 minutes then attach the two pieces together and they are STUCK!!!!! On the movie suit, the back plate is held together with the collar plate w/the studs... and is kept in place with the help of the weight of Jetpack.

Many Fetts have trooped (myself included) without any problems!
i have industrial strength Velcro on there now, but i am now strongly considering adding snaps to every piece of armor i have, thats a great idea, i would have never thought of that
