Jet Pack Attachment by magnets???

Hey guys, long time no see.

So I'm thinking of doing something new with my jetpack on my ESB Fett. The jetpack is always been the hardest and most annoying part of suiting up. I currently have the jetpack and backplate as one peice with snaps and velcro to push it to the back of the flak vest but I always need some help putting it on from a spotter. I've been playing around with the idea of using strong magnets to be able to just pop the jetpack and back plate to my back with minimal help.

Has anyone out there done this?

I wouldn't trust the jetpack with magnets. I think it would be far too heavy.

There is no shame in getting someone to help you get put together

I guess I should mention that there are already straps over my shoulders holding the weight of the backpack up, this is just to take up the space between the flak jacket and backplate. I don't like hearing snaps pop when I move an arm or my back wrong and have to have somone try and snap them back up.

it would just pull your flak vest away from your body in the case...get a metal harness rig

Don't you use your diver belt to keep the bottom of the JP snug?
