We've had lotts of discussions about this before. Alot of folks have different methods that work well for them. Simply sewing them on seems to be a popular method. I use the same method as biomech...a large Safety pin or 2 from the inside of the vest. You cant see it, & its super easy if you want to remove or reposition your braids. That seems to hold them in place real good as well

Ok so what is the best way to go to make my own braids? Is there doll hair or something I can buy. How does the majority go about creating their own braids?

The safety pin method is nice because your vest is going to get all stinky and sweaty .... thus needing to be cleaned

Probably better to not have the braids on there if you throw the vest into a dry cleaning bag.
