Just got in my second ASi today thanks to a trade with Seven! This one will be my stunt RotJ scope! I cut down the scope mount from a Redfield Scope (if I remember correctly) to get the stunt rings. Just need one more for ESB and I will be set!

Thanks... I know it isn't anything new or amazing, but I am really stoked to get the second one. Just puts me a little closer.

Hay art how about when you take your _beautiful_ pictures of this stuff, you get some 1 inch x 1 inch (or 1 cm x 1 cm) grid paper or ruler to take them on?

That way we get beauty, and measurements all in one nice bundle of joy!

You know... I have never thought of that, but that is a great idea! I will see about doing that in the future. In the meantime, if there are any measurements you need, just ask, and I will be glad to get them for you!

Thanks art. Id love to have a pic of the esb scope with a ruler next to it. Just so I can get a handle for size and dimensions on some things.

I guess I just need the true diameter of both ends of the scope and from there I can work out most the measurements. If anyone has that.

You know what would be cool for you? Is to get a clear glass ruler. Or a thick, meaty brushed aluminum ruler. I used to love taking picutres of glass and aluminum when I was in college.

Even a glass grid plate used for cutting would be cool.

Maybe we should start our own standard of measurement for starwars props.

'Hmm, I think it sticks out 4.7 molexes'
hehe

Hey folks.

The stunt scope Is Armsport. Or at least thats a model by the same manufacturer. Incidentally, I have a set of cut down Armsport rings that I will not be using. Storm, Art? Want 'em?

this is great... All these pics puts me all that much closer to scratch building my own Scope... along with everything else...
Gotta Start Somewhere, right!?
