Armor size and placement

cr4nky

I was hoping someone could help out here.

I´m just trying to find out if my armorpieces are big anough.
I took this pic with them taped on, and I´m just wondering if the openings between the pieces are ok or too big? And if the armor (bellyplate) low enough.

The white dot indicates where my bellybutton is.

Thanks for the help guys.

Maybe it's just me, but that looks good. It reminds me to pull my metal armor plates from rusting, and get something done on them. But, I am no expert on this, but I trust someone can chime in..

I think I would move the 2 chest panels a little higher toward the collar, and then move the ab plate a little higher so the gap between it and the chest plates is a little smaller.

Thanks guys. I was just concerned that if I move the ab plate higher, it would sit too high on the flak vest (which I understand goes down to the bellybutton). Hmm... I guess I need to check out how it looks when I get my vest from DarthCarcinus in a couple of weeks.

I could always make larger armor pieces of course, I just rather I didn´t have too:)

I used a photo for reference, and found that somewhere in the 8mm region spacing is right for all the pieces exept the collar.

hey cr4nky, you should definately use a razor! *LOL* j/k

As Superjedi said, I would move the chest panels a bit higher to the collar.

Is it FP armor? Looks like.

The chest display caught my eye as well! heh heh. Looks good. What did you make them out of? I was thinking of redoing mine to make them a little smaller for my size.

Thanks for the compliments guys!! :)

They are made out of 3mm sintra. I´m thinking of trying a set in 5mm as well, just to see how they look with a little more depth.
