Armor just isn't fitting right

So I'm to the point that I'm attaching my armor to my "flak vest", which is just an old t-shirt as of right now. I put it all on and it just didn't look right. The curves seemed off, even though they seem fine when i just put the armor against me. Any thoughts on this? How curved actually is the armor? What about the spacing between each pieces of armor?

If you are attaching it to an old T-shirt it will never look right. The flak vest is thick quilted and can hold up the armor. A t-shirt will droop and sag and it would be impossible to tell what is going on with it.

Depending on what the armor is made out of, you may be able to re-curve it so it contours to your body better. I used a heat gun/paint stripper to curve my shoulder bells into shape, and I might be doing the same with my back armour pretty soon too.

And Mulreel is 100% correct about the quilted flak vest being absolutely necessary for good armor fitment.
