    May 21, 2009, 5:18 PM - Anti-security Blade found parts? #1

I am currently in the process of thinking about making my next set of shin tools. I am interested in making them as accurate as possible. Now I have the paterson part and I can find some electrical tape, but have the metal sections been identified yet, and what about the blade itself?

    Thanks all.

It's been claimed that the are part of the sweep arm, but i disagree - to an extent
It could be one, but modified
Or a different version than we have found

Theres limited turntables that used the stylus brush, but I'm convinced it was taken off of "one" of the Mitchell Hydraulic turntables. But like slave1pilot said, its not proven so the best guess is that one could have been modified.

Thats good info and confirms a little about what I thought.

Could the arm have had an extra hole added to use on another part of the suit, in the way that the stabilizer/jet pack adjustment knob was used in the tip of the super trooper blaster for example?

What about the black blade section? Ant thoughts? I have heard the suggestions of kitchen utensiles bounded about.

Ok, I have been researching Mitchell Enginering a little in a quest to turn up a sweep arm. Now, I was interested to discover they were a small enginering shop that prior to making turntable parts for Transcriptor made model parts for the film industry. I therefore believe that it is possible only parts, possibly reject items were supplied as props rather than the props department buying numbers of sweep arms to strip for parts. If this is the case the metsl parts used for the anti security blade could have been from anything that was in the reject bin, or laying around in the shop.

However, if we assume the variant sweep brush holder is the correct part, does any one have any dimentions that I can replicate some in aluminium?

    Thanks. Bobby.
