Hey there - got some work done! The bottom of the side canisters is complete but the pics sucked so I'll have to reshoot it. But the Grapple Base is/was complete. Unfortunately I mistakenly cut 12 grooves into the top instead of the needed 16. D'oh! I'll fix it tonight but here's a pic of the mistake for now.
Ande here's the whole thing together.
The collar does not go down into the teeth as it needs to be lengthened but there is a hole to accept the part.... Guess it doesn't matter as the teeth have to be cut off

Looks spot on! So what's the idea of this launcher? Does the rocket exit from this grapple? These 18 grooves is what 'locks' the rocket to the pack?

Actually I am referring to the "Rocket" as the Grappling Hook or Grappling Device - as it is clearly not a rocket as it is commonly known. I believe that the original separation is just above the metal collar.

Cool beans! Tooth problem is fixed. I lopped off the old ones only after I created a new ring and made sure it was totally correct. Turns out that the definitive and accurate count is indeed 16.
