I am making a helmet for my 11 year old. coming along. I downloaded the most recent A4 pdf of the WOL templates. Then I printed them out at 90% of full size off my printer. Did a test cut out and build with bristol board and tape to make sure everything came together. Some adjustments needed but they were minor. I have now moved on to a high density card bard. I deconstructed the bristol board helmet and used that for templates on the card board. once the pieces are cut i put it all back together with hot glue on the inside and spackle on the exterior sanding it down. Some do a pass of white glue on the joints before the spackle. The templates are on this site and there is a build blog with card board on instructables.com...cheers
