I've been at this for a little bit now. Finally at a point where I'd like to share a teaser of a prototype. Still in the process of further small revisions to get it perfect.
Initially this was a personal project, but a few close friends have urged me to take this a bit further.
One idea is to provide a finished product (painted, weathered w/spikes). Through feedback, I'll be able to gage in which direction to take in offering these to the community. Thanks for looking!

I'd be interested. Not only do I need boots, but a good "all-in-one" solution would be ideal for me.

A few facts....
The boot is handcrafted in the USA using all accurate materials, ie: proper elastic gore, 3-layer sole construction with correct bottom, and canvas twill upper. The shoe maker is a 40 year veteran who's knowledge in styles and experience has been instrumental in interpreting photographs and my direction. So, in short, whatever the currently undetermined cost may be......it will not be cheap. I understand that this boot will not be for everyone. Due to the handcrafted nature of this replica, it is just not possible to offer it and be economical at he same time.

Folks, these are BAD A$$. I DO dare say, that these are THE most
accurate, AUTHENTIC, there has been, to date. These have been
in the making for nearly a year, if not more (I've lost track). I'm
putting my personal stamp on them as THE boots to own. So don't let
this opportunity slip through your fingers !

Id like to echo what Fettpride said. Rich has been at this for a good while. I have actually seen the sole material and the canvas twill he was going to use in person and i must say they are top notch quality stuff! Rich seemed very determined to get it 100% right and i think he has by seeing these pics.
I know we havent spoken much since last year rich, but id like to say, nice freakin job bud!

Another question, in doing some research yesturday, I have come to realize all the Fett shoes are normally a men's 9-12. Would these be available in say a men's 6 1/2? or 7?

i'm wondering how wide you can make these. I have a freakishly wide 9.5 EEE foot. makes me hesitant to buy from caboots. but if you can make themfit. i'll pay.
