Alternate Boba Fett Boot Interest?

Boba-brethren!
I've been at this for a little bit now. Finally at a point where I'd like to share a teaser of a prototype. Still in the process of further small revisions to get it perfect.
Initially this was a personal project, but a few close friends have urged me to take this a bit further.
One idea is to provide a finished product (painted, weathered w/spikes). Through feedback, I'll be able to gage in which direction to take in offering these to the community. Thanks for looking!

I'd be interested. Not only do I need boots, but a good "all-in-one" solution would be ideal for me.

A few facts....
The boot is handcrafted in the USA using all accurate materials, ie: proper elastic gore, 3-layer sole construction with correct bottom, and canvas twill upper. The shoe maker is a 40 year veteran who's knowledge in styles and experience has been instrumental in interpreting photographs and my direction. So, in short, whatever the currently undetermined cost may be......it will not be cheap. I understand that this boot will not be for everyone. Due to the handcrafted nature of this replica, it is just not possible to offer it and be economical at he same time.

Id like to echo what Fettpride said. Rich has been at this for a good while. I have actually seen the sole material and the canvas twill he was going to use in person and i must say they are top notch quality stuff! Rich seemed very determined to get it 100% right and i think he has by seeing these pics.

I know we havent spoken much since last year rich, but id like to say, nice freakin job bud!

Another question, in doing some research yesturday, I have come to realize all the Fett shoes are normally a men's 9-12. Would these be available in say a men's 6 1/2? or 7?

With no offense to other boot makers out there, these are the first boots to have the correct pattern and are without a doubt the most accurate I have ever seen.

I would jump on this band wagon once it gets rolling:D I'm not to worried about them being pre-weathered, but I like the idea of a complete boot. And at the end of the day it does depend on the final price, though I am realistic about costs:D

Currently the plans for these boots are on hold.

I was curious about these. Hopefully they will come back on line soon, they are a nice looking boot and we need some other venders for boots.

Gaaahhh! One can only hope. To those that might know, is it true these were used for Sideshow's 1:1 statue? I thought I heard that somewhere.

That's true, but they used these boots to achieve that look on the Sideshow Boba Fett Statue, and I think that this fact is what makes this project to halt for now.

The early prototype was molded for another project.
The Boba Feet project had to be shelved temporarily due to other work.
However, the prototype is still be being refined to get it as perfect as possible.
Once this happens, finished pics will be posted and a commitment head count will be taken.

What sort of interest would you need to get?

I was really looking forward to this too :( If i knew more about making shoes, i would make my own... would you consider doing a kit? or at the very least maybe a parts list with some instructions?
