Ali Shin tool parts from 'found' part - *Taking Payments*

Hey guys,

As some of you may know I snagged what seemed to the last Stylus sweep arm from Mitchells turntable.

I have been asked by some to replicate this to accompany the shin tool run also from 'found' parts that Bobby-Fett is doing. seen here: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=33087

I have re-drawn these in CAD and have passed the files to various new machinists in my area for quotation.... :thumbsup

So this is an interest only to guage the quantities?
Altho... I must add this will be a 'limited' run... first come first serve.

*Update* - Ok guys these are gonna be $50 / £31 for the pair (shipped).

That is a good price Gav. My original calculations were looking like £75 for the deluxe found part tools, so this cam in under that and even more accurate.

I have spoken to the machinist today and for those that asked about the knurl... ;)
We will be producing knurled section prototypes (will be posted) then upon agreement the button will be pushed.. :thumbsup

Small update...

I had some sample knurls sent to me and I wasn't happy with the result. He has borrowed some different sized tools so should have some pics soon? Sorry for the delay guys... :thumbsup

Going to have to pass for now :( Money is really tight on my end.

I have a new lead on the knurling as I wasn't happy with what i had seen so far, and the new version will not be 'formed' as most knurls are.. but more 'cut'.. should have a prototype very soon! :thumbsup

I received the prototypes today and I have a small adjustment to make to the chamfer on the tip where the knurl is...
Other than that it measures up perfectly to the found part I have...
