Adding a smoke machine to a Jet Pack

Have any of you chaps added a smoke machine to your JP's so that smoke vents out of the rocket exhaust ports...? One of the guys in the UK has done this, it looks quite impressive, however details are very thin on how this can be done safely....

Well... around halloween time I see really small electronic smoke machines for sale at places like Wal-Mart. As far as safety, just secure it very well and let it get ventilated, have plenty of room around it and the JP material and you should be good. I don't think they produce a lot of heat. That's all I can think of since I haven't actually installed out. Pretty neat concept though.

I was planning to do this at one time, I was going to use compressed air. the kind you use for paint-ball.
you would need to have a valve that opens and closes quickly, tank, battery, solenoids...etc

I've seen a pressurized CO2 set up with valves and a switch to the gauntlet. Looked cool, but made the jetpack very very heavy.

All the smoke machines that I have ever used get very hot and would probably damage most packs.

why not rig something up with dust-off cans and odorless talcum powder?

Oh that's not my JP btw, that the JP of our TDH brother....

I used a paintball CO2 canister. The "smoke" the CO2 makes is not as good as a smoke machine, but the noise from the CO2 makes up for it. I've scared everyone from kids to adults and even our seasoned troopers when I have set it off.
